No. Blade does not hold official tryouts — registration is open to any child who wants to join. After registration, evaluation practices are used to place players on the roster that suits their skill level.
These are the live prices on Blade's LeagueApps portal: Boys rising 2nd–3rd $425, Boys rising 4th–8th $550, Girls rising 2nd–8th $465, High School Fall Ball (9th–10th) $400, and Skills Only $300. Payment plans are available on team registrations. Blade's website separately quotes historical ranges of $425–$775 for developmental and $550–$750 for elite teams across seasons; the five figures above are what is actually on sale for this fall.
$30 for one hour, confirmed live on LeagueApps — 20 spots per session, Mondays 6:30–7:30 PM and Tuesdays 6:00–7:00 PM at Bishop Lynch High School, bookable through December 2026. A full-season Skills Pass is $300, and registered team players can add skills for +$200.
$160 per hour for an individual or a partner session (up to 2 players — two players pay the same as one), and $200 per hour for a small group of 3–4 players. Sessions cover ball-handling, footwork, shooting, finishing and basketball-specific agility.
Almost. Club teams, skills-only, high-school fall ball, camps, weekly group-skills bookings and the swag store are all on LeagueApps. 1:1 and small-group training is the exception — you submit a form on bladebasketball.com and pay by Venmo to @Bladeskills.
Blade serves players aged 7–18, boys and girls. Club teams are structured around rising 2nd through 8th grade, with a Saturday-only package for rising 9th and 10th grade boys. Skills training and camps are open to all ages in that range regardless of team membership.
Practices run at Bishop Lynch High School, Lakehill Prep, Zion Lutheran and Lakewood Presbyterian, and skills sessions are currently at Bishop Lynch. Games are at Ryse Starcenter in Farmers Branch, Sportsplex and FieldhouseUSA. Blade's own site still advertises skills at The DEN, 1411 N. Peak St.; LeagueApps currently schedules every Monday and Tuesday session at Bishop Lynch instead.
23 August to 7 November 2026. Regular registration ran 12 July to 30 August 2026 for club teams, and closed 18 August for High School Fall Ball. Boys practise Wednesday evenings; girls have Monday skills at 5:30 PM and Tuesday skills plus practice at 5:30 PM. League play is on Sundays with occasional Saturdays — 8 to 10 regular-season games plus playoffs.
No. All Summer 2026 camps — the June mini camps, the June/July 4-day camp and Summer Camp II on 20–23 July — have finished, and the LeagueApps camps index currently reads “No programs at this time”. When they return: $185 for a 4-day camp, $80 for a 2-day mini camp, $55 and $50 for single-day drop-ins respectively.
