A club basketball program developing players from beginner to elite — and the staff who run it.
Blade Basketball is an East Dallas club basketball program founded in 2012, developing youth players from beginner to elite across the DFW Metroplex. Competitive developmental and travel teams, weekly skills training, and seasonal camps.
There are no tryouts. Registration is open to any child who wants to join; evaluation practices after registration place players on the roster that fits their level. Teams are structured around grades 2nd through 8th, plus a Saturday-only high-school package for rising 9th and 10th graders.
Practices run at Bishop Lynch High School, Lakehill Prep, Zion Lutheran and Lakewood Presbyterian. League games are played Sundays with occasional Saturdays — 8–10 regular-season games plus playoffs — at venues including Ryse Starcenter in Farmers Branch, Sportsplex and FieldhouseUSA. Tournament Squad players in 5th–8th grade add 4–5 DFW tournaments with a three-game guarantee.
Blade states on its own site that it has served over 1,000 kids in 14+ years in Dallas. Those two figures are self-reported and could not be independently verified.
